The game consists of eight levels each having Batman face off against a different villain from the show at each stage. The title was single player platformer style game based on Batman: The Animated Series which had been rebranded as The Adventures of Batman and Robin during that time.
The game was published by Konami in November of 1994.
From the visuals and the soundtrack to the controls this game captured the spirit of the not only the Animated Series but it succeeded and making you feel like you were in control of the Caped Crusader. The Adventures of Batman and Robin for the Super Nintendo was released in 1994 and came very close to being the definitive Batman game. It’s true that most of the games before that were sub-par, and suffered from issues like poor graphics and janky controls but there was one game that was actually pretty good. The games are great and ended years of futility when it came to the Dark Knight in the medium. When you think of Batman video games the first thing that comes to mind is the Arkham series and that’s fair.
